Kpop- (an abbreviation of Korean pop or Korean popular music) is a musical genre consisting of electronichip hoppoprock, and R&B music originating in South Korea. In addition to music, K-pop has grown into a popular subculture among teenagers and young adults around the world, resulting in widespread interest in the fashion and style of Korean idol groups and singers.

The group has released two Korean full albums, three Korean mini-albums, one Japanese full album and various singles. Their 2009 hit single "Gee" holds the record for being the longest running No.1 song on KBS's Music Bank, having held the No.1 chart ranking for -9 consecutive weeks. -AKB48 is a Japanese female idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto.
The group has achieved enormous popularity in Japan. Its eight latest consecutive singles topped the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. "Beginner" and "Heavy Rotation" placed, respectively, 1st and 2nd in the list of Japan's best selling singles for the year 2010,[1] while "Everyday, Kachūsha" and "Sakura no Ki ni Narō" lead the 2011 rankings so far.






Scandal -(スキャンダル Sukyandaru?, stylized as SCANDAL) is a Japanese pop rock band. The group consists of four members: Haruna Ono,Tomomi OgawaMami Sasazaki and Rina Suzuki.
The group was formed in August 2006, and they started performing at Osaka Castle Park shortly after their formation. They quickly gained popularity, and after their overseas concerts in FranceUnited States and Hong Kong, became popular amongst overseas Japanese popular culture fans. They were also nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the 51st Japan Record Awards.
Their singles Scandal Nanka Buttobase and Haruka both peaked at the 3rd position on the Oricon charts.Their songs have also been used in animes such as Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist.

9Nine- (pronounced as nine) is a Japanese pop five member girl group. They were initially formed under LesPros entertainment in 2005 as a nine member idol group. They received great support from school girls, ranging from primary school to high school.
As of August 2010, 9nine has been signed under Sony Music Japan and will focus on becoming more of a "performance girls unit". Aside from singing, the group actively participates in the media scene as magazine models, actresses and variety regulars.

PARADISE GO!! GO!! is a all-girl J-Pop group on the avex trax label, also known as Parago. They started as out as 9souls, in 2003, minus members Risa, and Rika, who were added when Parago came out with Real Love, their fourth single. Every member has come from the CALESS school of music and dance. They are part of Girl's Box, which includes artists such as Kayo AikoNagasawa NaodreamSweetSSaito MichiHoshii NanaseSEEDBaby B, and Vivace. They disbanded in 2006.
